Retired Sergeant Roger Brenner has nearly 25 years of law enforcement experience. During his career, he worked in the patrol, traffic, and investigations divisions. While in the patrol division, Roger gained expertise in identifying crime trends, criminal behavior, crime scene protection, and crowd control.
Roger has extensive experience and skills in traffic accident investigation and accident reconstruction. He also developed, instituted, and managed the emergency driving program for Lee’s Summit Police Department.
During Roger’s time in the investigations unit, he gained extensive experience in crime scene processing and photography, interviewing and interrogation techniques, report writing, evidence processing and collection, and courtroom testimony. Roger spent one year in an undercover position investigating drug crimes in a large professional organization.
After his law enforcement career, Roger was a successful business owner for ten years. A large corporation then retained him to perform an undercover operation related to corporate theft. The company was so impressed with Roger that they hired him as a division manager, a position he held for seven years.
As a private investigator, Roger has extensive experience in security consulting, personal protection, surveillance, and investigations.
Timothy has 16 years of military experience in various MOS (Military Occupational Skills) and positions, reaching the rank of SGT / E5.
He has served as an ammunition specialist, psychological operations specialist, MP team op for NCO, aviation operations NCO, and admin NCO. He served on the Missouri Funeral Honors team, conducting over 100+ military funerals, as a team member and leader following his return from Guatemala in 2007.
Tim held a top-secret security clearance at his last duty station (Whiteman Air Force Base Mo) as he held and fulfilled additional duties as the Battalion JPAS (Joint Personnel Adjudication System) NCO, building and maintaining security clearances for 484 soldiers, sensitive and non-sensitive key control NCO responsible for the arms room and Battalion Iperms NCO accountable for maintaining personnel records for 484 soldiers.
Timothy has worked in civilian law enforcement since 1996, serving in roles and capacities such as patrol officer, patrol sergeant, patrol corporal, and deputy sheriff with a handful of KCMO metro area law enforcement agencies that include the Sugar Creek Mo Police Dept, Jackson County Mo Sheriffs Dept, Ferrelview Mo Police Dept, UMKC Police Dept, Claycomo Mo PD, and most recently with Richmond PD as an overnight patrol supervisor.
He has attended and completed FTO (Field Training Officer) school, CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) training and learned how to deal with EDP (Emotionally Disturbed People), crisis/hostage negotiations training, and the FBI LEEDA First Line Supervisors Course.
Throughout Timothy’s military and law enforcement careers, he has obtained several certifications, including Combat Life Saver, Tactical Pistol Operator, and TCCC. Tim works part-time with Star Investigations and has served on several high-end security details for former White House staff, governors, musicians, and politicians.
Matthew was born and raised in northern Missouri. He joined the US Army at the age of 17, and his job in the military is 11B (infantryman). Matthew attended college at the University of Central Missouri, obtaining a Criminal Justice Degree. He later participated at the Central Missouri Police Academy and received his Missouri POST License.
In his law enforcement career, Matthew has worked at a police department and works at a local sheriff's office. He has obtained a Weapons Instructor Certification through the Missouri State Highway Patrol Academy. Matthew has a passion for law enforcement and his career within. He believes his experiences have prepared him and made him more comfortable doing his job. Matthew enjoys his work because it satisfies him to give justice where justice is due.
Dani was born and raised in Maine, where she would obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology in 2020. Working as a mental health professional with psychiatric hospitals, jails, and other law enforcement entities, Dani would go on to complete her Master's degree in Criminal Justice in 2022.
Throughout her schooling, training, and work experience, Dani was interested in understanding criminal behavior, the theories and methodology of America's judicial system, and how micro and macro variables influence human behavior. In her current work as a behavioral health provider working specifically with law enforcement, Dani has a deep appreciation and understanding of how to assist individuals and parties with uncovering the truth, whether within themselves or by external forces.
